ADMISSION CRITERIA

DEGREE OF MASTER OF ENGINEERING / TECHNOLOGY (M.E/M.TECH)

A Candidate seeking admission to the first semester of a two years M.E./M.Tech. Program shall comply with the following requirements:

1. The Candidate should have obtained the B.E./B.Tech. Degree in the relevent branch of the study in the Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education or equivalent Degree of any other regonized University or Authority accepted by the competent statutory authority as equivalent thereto.
2. Notwithstanding the above qualifying examination, the Candidate might have passed, he/she shall write an entrance examination designed to test the proficiency of the Candidate in the relevant branch of the UG Degree. It is not necessary to write the entrance examination if the Candidate has GATE/GRE score or score in the examination conducted at All India Level by the constituent statutory authority. Admission to the M.E./M.Tech programs by the University shall be on the basis of marks in the qualifying examination and the performance of the perspective Candidate in the Entrance Test.
3. The Candidate shall satisfy the conditions regarding qualifying marks, number of      attempts, and mode of admission, age and physical fitness as prescribed by the competent statutory authority.
