Leo Binoy, final year BE Mechanical engineering student of Noorul Islam center for higher education has done a project based on the topic " Vortex Generator based carbon dioxide absorbing ecofriendly rover for earth and mars" along with his co-inventor Muhammad Shafi, a final year BE Automobile student of Noorul Islam center for higher education under the guidance of Dr. R Rajesh who is the Head of Mechanical Department. Leo has received so much appreciation from several government organizations for presenting his project including Kerala Forest and Wildlife Department and Indian Meteorological Department. Recently leo presented his project to 'George A. Salazar' who is one of the senior-most engineers in the Human Interface Branch, Avionics Systems Division, NASA. For this project, Leo received a letter of appreciation from him. With this invention, the pollution caused by Carbon-dioxide can be reduced to a limit using an eco-friendly process. Apart from that several other parameters like temperature, Humidity, Pressure, Pollution, etc can be lively detected and can monitor using this technology. 3D printing has been used to make several parts of this project. On 2020 Leo received International Young Scientist Award from IRSD in association with Western Sydney University Australia and Manchester UK. He is also a member in several top international organizations including American Physical Society (APS).
