The department of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering has taken initiative to start a Disaster Rescue Team in association with Fire and Rescue Service, Tamil Nadu.The inaugural ceremony of the Disaster Rescue Team was conducted on 17th December 2021. The chief guest of the function was Mr. Selva Murugesan, Station Master, Fire and Rescue Service, Kulasekaram.
