Guest Lecture on Innovation

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kumara coil, Department of Mechanical Engineering organized Guest Lecture under the title of Innovation on 30-01-2023 in the smart class room of department at 10. 30am.The welcome address was delivered by the Convener of the programme and Head of Department Dr.R Rajesh. The chief guest of the event was Dr.S Poornima,EDII-Master Trainer, Assistant Professor, Department of Biotechnology, Noorul Islam College for Arts and Science, Kumaracoil, Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, During her lecture she highlighted what is innovation, difference between Innovation and innovation, types of innovation, difference between startup and normal business etc. During that session students were split into batches and activities were assigned related to innovation. All the participated 73 students were enjoyed this session and was useful for them towards creative thinking. At the end of the session Dr. A Unni Krishnan delivered vote of thanks to the gathering All the teaching and non teaching staff from the department of Mechanical Engineering actively participated in the guest lecture. The event was coordinated by Dr. A Unni Krishnan and Prof. R. Dinesh.
