Department of Fire Technology and Safety Engineering and TamilNadu Fire and Rescue Service, Thuckalay, Kanyakumari Jointly organized a Life skill Training Programme Under the Title" Hands on Training in Fire and Rescue Operation” on 25th September 2023 at Marine Square. The event was graced by the presence of our esteemed Pro-Chancellor, Honorable Vice Chancellor, Respected Registrar and Higher authority from TamilNadu Fire and Rescue Service as the inaugural dignitaries. The programme commenced with the warm welcome Address, followed by the Professionals from Fire and Rescue Service conducted a Fire Safety Demo, Rescue Demo, Hydrant System Demo and Evacuation training from High Rise Buildings to all the faculty and Students from NICHE. The students and faculty members were actively participated in all the events. This hands-on training provides an excellent exposure to all the participant grasp knowledge about Fire and Rescue operations.
