Workshop on Web Application Development

Computer Science and Engineering department organized a workshop in Web Application Development on 15/03/2023 in the CSE lab at 9:30 AM. The resource persons for the event were Mr. B. Muthukrishna Vinayagam, Assistant Professor/CSE and Mr. D. Asir, Assistant Professor/CSE from Kamaraj College of Engineering and Technology, Virudhunagar. The workshop was convened by Dr. V. G. Ranjith Assistant Professor and Head/CSE and was organized by Mr. Jelin Taric G, Assistant Professor/CSE. The session started with Mr. Bhelal Ansari of third year, AI & DS delivering a welcome address. After the welcome address the resource persons started the session. It was a full day session. Morning session they covered how to setup the Django environment, architecture of the Django framework, how to start a project and application, views, Http responses and URL’s. From 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm students and resource persons had the lunch break. In the afternoon session they covered Templates, Django Administration Site, Models and Forms. At 3:00 pm to 3:10 pm they had a tea break and finally they demonstrated the students how to build a simple Django web application. The workshop ended up with Mr. Bhelal Ansari delivering the vote of thanks at 4:15 pm.
