Guest Lecture “AI Over Healthcare – What, Why & How”

Computer Science and Engineering department organized a Guest Lecture in AI over Healthcare – What, Why & How on 11/07/2023 in CSE Smart Class Room at 02:00 PM. The resource person for the event was Dr Ruban S, (ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR & HOD, DEPARTMENT OF M.SC - SOFTWARE TECHNOLOGY) ST ALOYSIUS COLLEGE INSTITUTE OF MANAGEMENT AND IT, MANGALORE. The guest lecture was convened and organized by Dr. V. G. Ranjith Assistant Professor and Head/CSE. The session started with Mr. Naveen Kumar of Final year CSE delivering the welcome address. After the welcome address the resource persons started the session. It was a one-hour session. He explained on what, How and why we need AI in Healthcare and its humongous applications and usefulness in healthcare area. As a simple mean he encouraged students to collect real world data from hospitals so that they can be used for their final year project. He also explained on how to create a dataset. The guest lecture ended with Ms. Mehek third year CSE student delivering the vote of thanks at 03:15 pm.
