The students from Aeronautical engineering and Aerospace Engineering accompanied by four staff members, Mrs.W.K.Anitta, Dr.L.M.Karthikeyan, Dr.R.R.Neela Rajan. Dr.V.Antony Vincent have visited industries from 15.2.2023 to 18.2.2023 as four days industrial visit. They started to make a journey from NICHE campus on 14.2.2023 around 5PM. In the first day of industrial visit, they visited HAL Heritage centre & Aerospace museum on 15.2.2023 at Bangalore. This is the first India’s aerospace museum established in 2001. This was very useful for the students to gain detailed knowledge about various commercial and military type aircrafts. In the second day, they visited air-show on 16.2.2023 held at Bangalore. This would enhance the students to gather the information about advancements of aviation industry. In the third day, they visited Indian Space Telemetry & Tacking Command Network (ISTRAC) at Bangalore. ISTRAC is entrusted with the major responsibility to provide tracking support for all the satellite and launch vehicle mission of ISRO (Indian Space Research Organization). The major objectives of the centre are: carrying out mission operations of all operational remote sensing and scientific satellites, providing Telemetry, Tracking and Command (TTC) services from launch vehicle lift-off till injection of satellite into orbit and to estimate its preliminary orbit in space and hardware and software developmental activities. From the ISTRAC visit, students know the importance, types and purpose of satellites and their launching. The final day, they visited Golden temple in Coorg. The Golden Temple complex is home to about 16000 refugees and 600 monks.
