World Kidney Day Awareness Programme @ NICHE

The Department of Allied Health Sciences at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kanyakumari, observed World Kidney Day through a public awareness programme focused on promoting kidney health and preventing kidney-related diseases. As part of the initiative, students organized an awareness rally from the campus to Kumaracoil, actively spreading messages on the importance of a healthy lifestyle. Through posters, placards, and public interaction, they highlighted essential practices such as adequate hydration, balanced nutrition, regular exercise, and periodic health check-ups. The programme effectively engaged the public and emphasized the significance of early detection and preventive care, reflecting NICHE’s commitment to community health awareness and social responsibility.
