NICHE Ascend 2025: A Grand Celebration of Academic Brilliance and Innovation

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) Deemed-to-be University, Kanyakumari, hosted NICHE Ascend 2025, a vibrant annual conclave celebrating academic excellence and innovation at the University Convocation Hall. The event, inaugurated by Chancellor Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan with a ceremonial lamp-lighting, featured the presentation of the Best Faculty of the Year Award to Dr. R. Rajesh, Head of Mechanical Engineering, for his exceptional contributions. Pro-Chancellor Shri M.S. Faizal Khan delivered an inspiring presidential address, highlighting NICHE’s commitment to shaping future-ready graduates. Vice-Chancellor Dr. Tessy Thomas set an uplifting tone with her welcome and inaugural address, while Prof. Dr. A. Shajin Nargunam, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics), presented the annual report detailing research and collaborative achievements. Prof. Dr. K.A. Janardhanan, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration), shared strategic insights, and Registrar Dr. P. Thirumalvalavan concluded with a vote of thanks. Distinguished guests, including Prof. (Dr.) Kuncheria P. Isaac, Prof. (Dr.) G. Gopa Kumar, Dr. Faizul Rehman, and Mr. Gopinath Madathil, UGC Representative and Mathrubhumi Editor, enriched the event with inspiring talks and felicitated outstanding faculty.
