About the Library
The NICHE Central Digital Library is a state-of-the-art knowledge hub established to support the academic and research endeavors of students, faculty, and scholars. As the intellectual heart of the institution, the library provides seamless access to an extensive collection of print and digital resources, fostering a culture of learning, innovation, and excellence.
Our Collections: The library houses over 15,000 books, 8,500+ e-resources, 250+ print journals, and 5,000+ electronic journals covering all disciplines including Engineering, Science, Humanities, Management, and Social Sciences. The digital repository includes thesis dissertations, conference proceedings, question banks, and institutional archives.
Digital Infrastructure: The library is equipped with modern IT infrastructure, including high-speed internet connectivity, digital reading stations, OPAC terminals, and a dedicated e-resource access center. Members can access subscribed databases, e-journals, and e-books remotely 24/7 through the library portal.
Services & Support: The library offers a range of user-centric services including reference assistance, inter-library loan, document delivery, plagiarism check support, thesis formatting guidance, research consultation, and orientation programs. The dedicated library staff ensures prompt assistance to all users.
Physical Infrastructure: Spread over 15,000 sq. ft., the library features spacious reading halls, group study rooms, Wi-Fi zones, a digital library section, periodical section, stack areas, and a comfortable seating capacity of over 300 users. The environment is designed to promote focused study and collaborative research.
Quality Initiatives: The library continuously upgrades its resources and services based on user feedback and emerging trends. Regular user satisfaction surveys, book exhibitions, author talks, and information literacy programs are organized to enhance user engagement.

Library Rules
- Use of Mobile Phones is Restricted inside the Library. They may be used only for study Purposes
- Every Student of the University is eligible for getting membership of the Library
- Library can be utilized by the Students from 8.00 a.m till 8.00 p.m.
- Post graduate students and PhD scholars can borrow four books while the Graduate students can borrow two books.
- The Books borrowed should be returned within fifteen days. If not, an overdue charge of Rs 1.00 per volume per day will be levied.
- Students should bring their ID Cards along with their library tickets while borrowing books from the library.
- Students will only read the newspapers on the newspaper reading Stand.
