World Environment Day 2026

As part of the observance of World Environment Day, the Department of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (ASLP) at Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education, Kanyakumari, organized a Tree Plantation Programme to promote environmental sustainability and inspire a greener future. The initiative brought together students, faculty members, and university leaders in a collective effort to nurture nature and strengthen environmental awareness. By planting saplings across the campus, participants reaffirmed their commitment to protecting natural resources, enhancing green cover, and building a healthier environment for future generations. The programme reflected NICHE’s dedication to environmental stewardship and sustainable development, encouraging the campus community to contribute towards a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable tomorrow.
