Tribute to the Legendary actress Sukumari

NICHE Kanyakumari is paying a tribute to the legendary actress Sukumari with the creation of the first-ever Multimedia and Film Technology School in her memory. Movie icon Mammootty laid the foundation stone, sharing heartfelt memories of their bond, now immortalized in this endeavour.
This visionary school will feature cutting-edge multimedia labs, dubbing theatres, and a grand multiplex. It will also house the Padma Shri Sukumari Museum, a treasure trove of her lifetime achievements and accolades.
Their story began when Mammootty, through the Heart-to-Heart project, sought the finest care for Sukumari at NIMS Hospital. Following a successful surgery, Sukumari became deeply connected to the NIMS family, expressing her desire to have her legacy preserved there.
Though she passed away, her spirit lives on through this school and museum, a place where her artistic brilliance and cherished memories continue to inspire generations to come.
