Honouring the Sporting Talents of NICHE Kanyakumari on National Sports Day

On the occasion of National Sports Day, commemorating the legacy of Major Dhyan Chand, Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education honoured its talented athletes and faculty members with the inspiring message, “India Will Play, India Will Win.” The celebration also recognised Sujin, a proud Born @ NIMS member, who has earned a place in the Indian Football Team for the Under-20 Challenge Series and is currently a member of the Kerala Blasters Reserve Team. A native of Poovar, Sujin’s dedication and sporting excellence continue to bring pride to his family and institution.

The felicitation ceremony was held at the Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce Hall in the presence of M. S. Faizal Khan, Chancellor, NICHE Kanyakumari; S. N. Raghuchandran Nair, President, Trivandrum Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Dr. E. M. Najeeb, Executive Director, KIMSHEALTH; Dr. K. A. Saju, General Manager, NIMS Medicity; Rajesh Kumar S. V., Senior Manager, NIMS Medicity; and Kishore, Project Manager. The Chancellor presented sports kits to the university’s talented athletes and interacted with the young achievers, offering encouragement and motivation for their continued pursuit of sporting excellence.
