The Department of Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering organized a seminar on "AI-Driven Automation in Industrial Instrumentation" by Dr. Gopal Samy from Feather Software, Nagercoil, on 22nd October 2024. Dr. Gopal Samy highlighted how AI is transforming industrial processes through predictive maintenance, real-time data analysis, and smarter decision-making. He shared case studies where AI reduced downtime and improved efficiency in industries like manufacturing and oil & gas. The session also covered AI's role in robotics and process control, along with future challenges and opportunities.
