NICHE Launches Academic Year 2025–2026 with Grand Inauguration and Admission Drive

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE), Kanyakumari, ushered in the Academic Year 2025–2026 with a vibrant inauguration ceremony and the official launch of its Admission Drive. Led by Chancellor Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan, the event saw an impressive response, with over 1,070 applications and 255 admissions recorded on the first day following Tamil Nadu’s Higher Secondary results. An orientation session guided new students and parents on academic planning, career opportunities, and technology-driven education. Vice Chancellor Dr. Tessy Thomas emphasized the transformative role of emerging technologies, while Pro-Chancellor Mr. M.S. Faizal Khan highlighted NICHE’s student-centric ethos. Chancellor Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan reaffirmed the institution’s mission to broaden educational access across South India. NICHE also introduced scholarships for meritorious and underprivileged students, including the Regional Development Scholarship Scheme to enhance literacy in rural and coastal communities.
