NICHE Ascend 2025: Honoring Excellence and Innovation in Higher Education

Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) Deemed-to-be University, Kanyakumari, hosted NICHE Ascend 2025, a distinguished annual conclave celebrating academic excellence and innovation at the University Convocation Hall. Chancellor Dr. A.P. Majeed Khan opened the event with a ceremonial lamp-lighting and awarded Dr. R. Rajesh, Head of Mechanical Engineering, the Best Faculty of the Year Award for his exceptional contributions. Pro-Chancellor Shri M.S. Faizal Khan delivered a compelling presidential address on NICHE’s transformative journey, while Vice-Chancellor Dr. Tessy Thomas welcomed guests, emphasizing academic milestones. Prof. Dr. A. Shajin Nargunam, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Academics), presented the annual report, and Prof. Dr. K.A. Janardhanan, Pro Vice-Chancellor (Administration), shared administrative perspectives. Registrar Dr. P. Thirumalvalavan concluded with a vote of thanks. Esteemed guests, including Prof. (Dr.) Kuncheria P. Isaac, Prof. (Dr.) G. Gopa Kumar, Dr. Faizul Rehman, and Mr. Gopinath Madathil, delivered inspiring speeches and felicitated outstanding faculty.
